‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah about a misunderstanding between them. He expresses his love for Surur and refers to a photograph sent by Surur that he has sent her back without looking at it. He apologizes for his letter that was written before knowing Surur's intention for sending the photograph which apparently has been partly a joke and partly to test him. Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk also tells her about the death of the one-and-half year old son of his sister, ‘Ismat al-Muluk, who was being taken care of by Khanum in Mashhad. He was sad to think of ‘Ismat...

‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)'s letter to Surur al-Saltanah, writing about the relationships of men and women in Europe, that Iranian men dismiss their own wives and look for love and pleasure outside of their marriage while it is different in Europe, as men and women love each other and they prefer to spend their time with each other rather than with others. He then thanks God that Surur is a perfect mate and says that he truly loves her....

Love letters of ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash), son of Karim Dad Khan, to Surur al-Saltanah, daughter of Zarrin Kulah Khanum and Khazin al-Mulk, accompanied by some envelopes and part of a letter, probably from Surur al-Saltanah to Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk.
